Carbon capture and storage in a single step

Preventing on-site emissions at industrial sites can be both an infrastructure challenge and an environmental dilemma.

 

Traditional carbon capture and storage (CCS) solutions can require many stages and extensive logistics.


With the Aspiring Carbon Mineralisation technology, point source CO2 emissions are removed and mineralised on-site, in a single step.

 

CO2 is transformed into magnesium carbonate, a non-toxic material that can be on-sold for industrial inputs such as building materials, flame retardants and agricultural additives. 

It's simple, safe and a highly cost-effective solution to eliminate industrial point source emissions.

The bedrock of our future

Olivine-rich ultramafic rocks have an important role to play in the transition to cleaner industrial practices. These rocks are rich in magnesium, silica and iron, but have no inherent carbon.


Most olivine rock available today has been exposed through existing mining operations, set aside as a low-value, waste by-product. 

Olivine is found in abundance all over the world. When teamed with the Aspiring Process, this relatively low-cost, under-utilised resource can lead to a greater distribution of opportunity for industries and communities worldwide to build resilience, displace emissions intensive materials and sequester carbon.
